I often grab a comforting sprig or two from my lavender plants when passing, crushing a few little buds to release the aroma. On this particular day, I had plucked a few pieces of peppermint along with my lavender and popped them into this jelly jar on my breakfast table. This is the scene I discovered a short while later as the morning sun and a sleepy kitty both cozied up to my little bouquet.  16"x12" oil on gesso panel.  Framed as shown (pic coming soon).
