This little 8 x 10 is a study I did from a photograph I shot while on a hike in West Virginia. Bummed that I didn't have my plein air gear with me to stop and paint, I shot several photographs of this historic house as we passed it to sue later. Done in black and white, it was an enjoyable practice in value changes.
