Even if you don't have a perfect photo, I will work with you to capture your pet's looks and personality. Pet portraits are a perfect gift for yourself or a loved one.
 
You may chose a blurred background that will be in a color that complements the piece, or choose a detailed background.  Your pet may even be painted into a detailed background from a separate photo if you desire.
 
Your portrait will arrive unframed and ready for you to pop into an open-backed frame of your choice.  However, framed pieces can sometimes be shipped much sooner than unframed due to the drying time of oil paints, so if you would like to discuss framing just let us know.  I can bill separately for a beautiful frame that we carry and is produced by another small business in the area.
 
When ready to order, please email your photos to me at karen@artpartyunlimited.com.  Photos that show your pet's eyes clearly and are a high resolution are best.  The color/lighting is not the most important thing, especially if those can be observed in other photos.  Please send 3-4 that you feel are representative of your pet. I usually respond within 24 hours to discuss the details of your portrait. You will be sent updates and given the opportunity to approve the finished portrait before shipping.  Keep in mind that a good amount of lead time is necessary since these are done in oils and require drying time.
