I ran a painting friend's purse out to her after she left it in one of our classes, only to discover this gorgeous scene. It was worth the 2-hour round trip just for this!
 
This scene is at the Annapolis Sailing School in Maryland at the edge of the Chesapeake Bay. I hope to get a chance to go back. There is so many great scenes to paint and, heck, I was even feeling a desire well up in me to go to sailing school. It looks like so much fun!
