Inspiration and Enrichment for Budding Artists

 

• WHO:  Karen Saunders is an experienced classroom teacher and the owner of Art Party Unlimited, a small business specializing in all sorts of art classes and events. One of Karen's loves is working with students one-on-one to help them gain foundations for a lifetime of creativity. She holds a current Maryland state teaching certificate and has extensive experience in the classroom. She has been teaching art to all ages, both children and adults, while running her art business in Indiana for the last 6 years.  A native Marylander, she has recently returned to the area and is excited to begin teaching art lessons in her new community.  Private lessons are most appropriate for children 4 and up, as well as teens and parents!

• WHERE:  Our studio is located in the Romancoke neighborhood on Kent Island.  Karen is also open to bringing lessons to your student in the area around Stevensville, including Annapolis and Easton, although a mileage charge may apply.

• WHEN:   If you'd like to be a part of our private lesson schedule, let us know your preferred days and times for either a 30- (for younger artists) or 50-minute time slot.  We will work with you on a first come, first served basis to create and fill our summer schedule.

• HOW MUCH:  30-minute sessions are $20 and 50 minute sessions are $38.  Bringing siblings or want a series of lessons? Ask about muti-child discounts and for purchasing blocks of lessons.  Your artist will need to have a small, good-quality sketchbook to start.  Since all lessons are tailored to student goals and may encompass a variety of media, you may be asked to purchase additional materials from time to time.
