...pack and assemble it. (Or maybe the pack and assemble part could just be on a video on your website). And DO a "sample" painting together to start to get the hang of it.
Answer: YES! YES!! YES!!!
We are enjoying plein air painting so much that we are really trying to spread the joy of it with others. As you know we have invited folks out to paint with us a few times plein air for FREE, but there have only been two takers on the adventures.
For backstory, in case some folks are not aware of plein air painting, here's my blog posts on the topic:
We should have something on the schedule beginning in January or February. We don't know what it will look like now, whether it will be an all-day, multi-day, several short sessions, etc. We know what we need to show you, but with fuel costs we don't want to drag people out for multiple days if we can avoid it. We should have something nailed down and on the calendar in the next couple of weeks.
Even if we do a video on the packing and setting up of your plein air gear we would definitely cover it in class, too. I would definitely recommend coming to the values workshop, too. I will really dial in the key to a successful painting - value. It will make you a better painter in one day.
Thanks for the feedback. We are on your side on this one, for sure!
